We may also use marketing tools or tracking pixels to promote the event. Where these tools require your consent, we will request it beforehand. We do not use this data to make automated decisions that significantly affect you.

9. In such cases, we seek to ensure that adequate safeguards are in place to protect your information.

11. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy and, thereafter, for the periods required by applicable law (for example, accounting and tax obligations). When no longer needed, it will be securely deleted or anonymized.

12. Information security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration, including the use of encrypted connections (HTTPS) and payment processing by providers that meet recognized security standards.

13. Your rights

In accordance with Chilean personal data protection law (Law No. 19,628 and its update through Law No. 21,719) and, where applicable, with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for participants residing in the EU, you may exercise the following rights:

Access the personal data we process about you.

Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.

Request the deletion or cancellation of your data.

Object to or restrict certain processing.

Request the portability of your data, where applicable.

Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise these rights, write to us at bridge-symposium@amtc.cl stating your request. Minors

The site and registration for the symposium are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us so we can delete it.

15. Links to third-party sites

This site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, social networks, collaborating institutions or payment gateways). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; we recommend reviewing their respective policies.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical or organizational changes to the event.
